Alright, Guardians, another week means another batch of Seasonal Challenges in Destiny 2's Season of Defiance. I’m not gonna lie—this week’s set is pretty chill if you know what you’re doing. A couple of these challenges dump a whole Season Pass level and 300 Bright Dust straight into your pocket, so they’re well worth the grind. If you’re still catching up on the pass or need that extra Bright Dust for some slick ornaments, stick with me. I’ll walk you through all six challenges, plus throw in some hard-earned tricks to knock ’em out fast.

First up, we’ve got the classic “kill stuff with heavy weapons” hustle. The Forceful Liberator challenge wants you to delete 75 enemies in Defiant Battlegrounds using Power weapons. Solar heavy gear gives bonus progress—so if you have a Solar machine gun like Fixed Odds or a souped-up Xenophage, that’s your ticket. For real efficiency, though, grab a Void machine gun like Retrofit Escapade or even Thunderlord. Pop on the Bricks From Beyond artifact perk (if it’s still in your seasonal loadout) and you’ll be swimming in purple bricks. Basically, you’ll never run out of ammo, making this challenge a total breeze.

Next is Relentless Liberator, which sounds fancier than it is. You just need to spend three Defiant Keys by opening the bonus chest at the end of a Defiant Battlegrounds run. Both Normal and Legend counts, so don’t sweat the difficulty. If you’re low on keys, run some Vanguard Ops, Crucible, or Gambit—they drop like candy from ritual activities and Lightfall missions. Pro tip: the paid Season Pass track hands you a few keys, but honestly, you’ll probably already have a stack by week six. Just load into the normal playlist, boss-rush it, and crack those chests.

Now for Vexing Liberator—I love this one because you can finish it in a heartbeat. You need to defeat 150 Vex using seasonal weapons from Defiance: Perpetualis, Prodigal Return, Regnant, Caretaker, Raconteur, or Royal Executioner. The secret sauce? Head into the Vexcalibur exotic mission and farm the first encounter. Vex spawn practically non-stop there, and when you’re rocking a Raconteur bow or a Prodigal Return grenade launcher, you’ll rack up those kills before you can say “milk carton.” Seriously, you’re in and out in under five minutes.

If you’re into looking fresh in the Crucible, Defiant Crucible Ornament has your name on it. Unlocking the Crucible ornament for Ecliptic Distaff means you need to reset your Valor rank and hit Rank 16 with Lord Shaxx. That might sound like a slog, but trust me—double Valor weeks are your best friend. Queue into Rumble or any fast-paced rotator like Mayhem, Momentum Control, or Team Scorched. When Eruption Iron Banner is live, that’s also a massive Valor farm. A full reset might take a few play sessions, but the 300 Bright Dust and heaping XP are oh-so worth it.

Elegant Weaponry is another laid-back challenge: score 100 final blows in Vanguard Ops with a Sword, Bow, or Glaive. My go-to? A glaive, hands down. Melee kills with a glaive count as weapon kills, so you can mindlessly smack everything in your path. If Nightfalls are more your speed, bows work great, but be warned—higher-difficulty Nightfalls don’t give bonus progress. Keep it on the regular Vanguard playlist for maximum speed, and you’ll knock this out in two or three strikes tops.

Last but definitely not least, Absolutely Stunning asks you to stun 50 Champions. This one rewards 100,000 XP and another 300 Bright Dust, so don’t skip it. Any Champion type counts, and yes, stunning the same Barrier champ over and over works. The fastest method? Load up a Legend Lost Sector solo. Bring a Chill Clip fusion rifle like Riptide—that thing’s an absolute unit. It freezes Overloads and Unstoppables, and if you slap on a Solar Radiant buff, you can even pierce Barrier shields. One gun to rule them all, seriously. Alternatively, run a Stasis subclass with anti-Champion mods and watch the stuns pile up.

That’s the whole lot for week six! The XP and Bright Dust payouts are juicy, and nothing here is remotely hard if you optimize your approach. I usually knock out all six in a single evening—mixed with some casual banter and a good playlist on the side. Grab your seasonals, your heavy machine gun, and maybe a glaive for good measure, and go bag those challenges. Your Season Pass will thank you, and Shaxx might even shout encouragement while you’re at it.

Eyes up, Guardian. Let’s get that loot.
